I could entertain long time with the wars we have had here in Denmark - and have been agressors to other countries. Shortly:
We have been in war several times with practically all the european countries. Did you know we once "owned" England, Norway, Sweden (and parts of France)- and a bit of Germany? And that the Romans were afraid of us barbarians (Romans have never been in Denmark - they were not allowed). Hope you see the point. In this century we haven't really been in war.
We are tired of war. And Danes certainly don't like the idea about a common EU-army. We could consider to substitute our army with a telephone-answering-machine, saying:"We give up!"
